The standards this site is written to

This site is patient education published by Chongqing West District Hospital. It is written to the hospital's content standards and to the advertising rules governing medical content, which is why it reads differently from a commercial clinic site.

What this site does not do

It names no drug brand and no device brand, and describes medication only by substance class — for example topical metronidazole, azelaic acid, ivermectin-class agents, oral antibiotics of the tetracycline class, beta-blockers, and brimonidine-class or oxymetazoline-class agents. It quotes no dosage and no price. It publishes no before-and-after gallery used as a promise, and it makes no claim that a particular result can be achieved.

No outcome is promised

Nothing here should be read as an offer of a specific result. Rosacea responds differently in different people, the condition is controlled rather than cured, and the plan is made only after a personal assessment. No number of sessions and no degree of clearance can be guaranteed.

Corrections

If you believe something on this site is inaccurate, raise it through the hospital administration contact. Corrections affecting clinical meaning are reviewed by the responsible physician before publication.
